I've been performing for over fifty years, and I still feel exactly the same walking up to a microphone today as I did at the very start. From smoky jazz clubs and grand old theatres to wedding marquees and corporate ballrooms, I've spent a lifetime learning how to read a room and give people a night they'll actually remember.
That experience is the difference. I can take an evening from intimate jazz and swing over dinner to a packed, singing, dancing floor by midnight — live vocals and a DJ, all from one act. Classics, soul, country, indie, reggae, ballads: whatever a room loves, I'll play it, and I'll read the moment to know when.
And I never take it for granted. I turn up early, fully insured and PAT-tested, I work hand in hand with your venue and your other suppliers, and I take real care to get your day or your night exactly right. After 500+ weddings and countless parties, I know just how much the music matters.
Music has always run in our family — so I couldn't have been prouder when my daughter Hayley took to one of the biggest stages in the country on ITV's The Voice UK. She reached the live quarter-finals, one of the last singers standing from more than 50,000 who applied. Watching her light up that stage is right up there with the proudest moments of my whole career.
I've featured on The Voice UK myself, and over the years I've been seen on Lorraine, Good Morning Britain and The Real Housewives of Cheshire. But for me it's never really been about the cameras — it's about the room, the song, and the people in front of me.
